Standard entry deadline
The normal deadline for the series. Missing it can trigger a higher late fee.
Exam dates and deadlines
Exam boards publish final timetables and deadlines each year. We help you work backwards from the right date so nothing is left to the last minute.
Plan early
Board deadlines are fixed and late entry is not guaranteed. We recommend starting the conversation at least three months before a summer series and earlier for practical or access-arrangement cases.
The dates below are a planning guide, not a substitute for the official board timetable. Once your entry is confirmed, we send the final dates and session times for your papers.
| Series | When exams usually take place | Best time to enquire |
|---|---|---|
| Autumn | October to November | June to August |
| January | January | September to October |
| Summer | May to June | December to February |
Not every subject is available in every series. January availability is especially limited.
